Volatility leads to disruption in synchronism between generators of a continuous system. The frequency the volatility is usually few tenths Hz several Hz. This sometimes divided into two types, local and interregional. Local low-frequency power plant unit or units relative grid whereas interregional one area another area. worst kind occurs when system region has short three-phase connection earth, creating complete instability operating protective systems. One ways improve dynamic stability steady-state use stabilizers FACTS devices In this paper, stabilization (PSSs) SSSC done using ant colony algorithm. Studies on four-machine with error were performed scenarios finally compared PSO method. simulation results show that proposed method produced more accurate performance.
